Disaster at an AC/DC concert

January 18 in the history of rock and metal music

On January 18, 1991, AC/DC performed at the Salt Palace Arena in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Even before the band went on stage, three teenagers were crushed to death by the crowd. The promoters did not say anything to the musicians, knowing that in this case the concert would not take place, and decided to continue the show. As soon as the performance ended, the group was informed of the terrible news.

Even worse was the fact that photos of the band on stage appeared all over the world with messages that the musicians did not pay any attention to the disaster.
