Decibel Books has announced the publication of Amorphis: The Official History of Finland’s Greatest Metal Band, in English. The 376-page hardcover book presents a full biography of the Finnish metal band, contains tons of rare and never-before-seen photos, and a 16-page color section. The book is available for pre-order through the Decibel online store.

The announcement of the edition says that Amorphis finally got a proper English translation. The official history of Finland’s greatest metal band masterfully describes the band’s history from their teenage era to their emergence as Finland’s most important metal band, thanks to their bold integration of doom, folk and progressive rock on albums like Tales from the Thousand Lakes, Elegy and Circle.
