Ozzy Osbourne has announced his new album and released two singles Patient Number 9 and Degradation Rules

The release date of Ozzy Osbourne’s new album “Patient Number 9” is scheduled for September 9 of this year. Also released is the first single and video clip from the album, the title track “Patient Number 9”.

The new album, produced by Andrew Watt (who performed the same duties in Ordinary Man), will be Osborne’s 13th solo studio album. It’s heavy, ponderous, historical – that’s all you’d want from an Ozzy Osbourne album, and maybe more.

Patient Number 9 was written by Ozzy, Watt, Robert Trujillo and Chad Smith and features an exciting solo by legendary guitarist Jeff Beck. The music video for the song uses Ozzy’s work: his hand-drawn demons were animated, and they can be seen during Jeff Beck’s solo.

Working with producer Watt for the second time, Ozzy has once again assembled an impressive line-up of famous musicians. The album features guitarists Beck, Eric Clapton, Mike McCready, and Zakk Wylde, who plays on most of the tracks. Chad Smith sat behind the drums for most of the album, and Taylor Hawkins participated in the recording of some of them. Old friend and former band member Ozzy Trujillo plays bass on most of the album’s tracks, along with Duff McKagan. For the first time in history, Black Sabbath co-founder, guitarist Tony Iommi appears on Ozzy’s solo album.

Ozzy Osbourne, together with his former Black Sabbath bandmate guitarist Tony Iommi, presented a new single from Ozzy’s solo album Patient Number 9. The composition is called “Degradation Rules”, lasts about 4 minutes, has an average tempo with a blues bias, heavy riffs, harmonica and an excellent solo.

The song tells the story of a certain person who lives with perverted fantasies and a predilection for debauchery, reads and watches relevant magazines and apparently engages in how Masturbation is sung in the song, generally having an interesting time.
