Iron Maiden released the album Killers
Iron Maiden’s second studio album was released on February 2, 1981 in Great Britain on the EMI label. It is the band’s first album with guitarist Adrian Smith and their last with vocalist Paul D’Anno, who was fired because of problems with alcohol and cocaine. It is also the first Iron Maiden album produced by Martin Birch.
Paul Baloff Died
The former vocalist of Exodus, Hirax, Piranha and Heathen died on February 2, 2002. He died as a result of a serious stroke. He was 41 years old.
