Born in Switzerland in 1940. An artist, a representative of fantastic realism, best known for his design work for the film “Alien”. He designed the albums of many metal bands: Celtic Frost album To Mega Therion, Mekong Delta album The Principle of Doubt, Atrocity album Hallucinations, Carcass album Heartwork and many others.

He died on May 12, 2014 in the hospital from injuries sustained in a fall down the stairs. He was 74 years old.
