Iron Maiden released the “Live After Death” album

The first live double album by heavy metal band Iron Maiden, recorded in 1984-1985 and released in Great Britain by EMI on October 14, 1985. The album was recorded by the band during concerts as part of the World Slavery Tour organized in 1984-1985 in support of the album Powerslave. The album received excellent critical acclaim, with Kerrang magazine rating it as “possibly the greatest live album in history”. The guitars are extremely well recorded, with Dave Murray’s guitar in the left channel and Adrian Smith’s in the right. The guitar duel of alternately played solos and accompaniment give the impression of listening to the music directly in the hall.
