The sixteenth studio album by the British heavy metal band Iron Maiden, was released on September 4, 2015. It is the band’s first double album, consisting of 11 tracks. It is 92 minutes and 11 seconds long, making it the longest in the band’s history. The final 18-minute song, “Empire of the Clouds,” was the band’s longest track. The Book of Souls won the 2015 Album of the Year award from Classic Rock magazine. The album was produced by Kevin Shirley and Steve Harris.
